Thank you for checking out my website! Here’s a little bit about me and my writing journey…
I’ve been dabbling in storytelling since I was a teenager, but it took me eight years to complete an actual novel. Eight years. Something miraculous for me happened after that, though. I wrote my second book in eight weeks!
And then motherhood came and knocked me on my butt. I didn’t write creatively for years. Until Covid hit. Needing an escape, I retreated into my imagination and began making up stories again.
I love incorporating places I’ve lived into my writing. My family apparently has a wanderlust gene, and I’ve been fortunate to call Arizona, Florida, Colorado, Washington DC, Italy, San Diego, Los Angeles, and the Pacific Northwest home at various points in my life.
Here’s a list of what you’ll usually find in my books: cinnamon roll heroes, lots of dialogue, many scenes with the two main characters together, lower angst, good friendships, humor and heart, sweet and steamy, plus happily ever afters.
And here’s what I try to avoid: tons of side characters, miscommunication, and third act breakups.
Sometimes the plot plays out differently, but mostly I’m drawn to all of the above. So if that appeals to you, hopefully you’ll enjoy my stories.
